Construction Progress

Construction started with the reinforced concrete floor slab on the 9th.November, 1999.

When we visited the Site on the 11th. December, 1999, the house had all the exterior walls in place. (See photo below)

When we left the Site on the18th. December, the roof timbers had been put into place and the sarking boards were due to be fitted in the next few days. (See photo below)

The latest news on 22nd. February, 2000 is that the structure of the house is virtually complete. The pool screen still has to be put up and the electrical appliances etc. are to be installed and of course landscaping has to be put in. But at least there's a pool now! (See photo below)

The house was finished at the end of February, 2000, with Closing/Completion following on the 20th. March 2000.

All seems to be well, with our first guests arriving in May, after we have checked-out the house ourselves in April 2000

Well, as you can see above, the house is now complete, everything is in place and the first guests have been and gone.
