Driving in the area is easy, with US Highway (US) 27 which runs from Tallahassee (the State Capital) in the north to Miami in the south, passing within 200 metres of Ger-y-Llyn.
This links to US-192, about 4 miles north of the house. US-192 is the main road running along the southern edge of Disney World and then eastwards past Celebration, Arabian Times, Watermania, The Old Town, Mediaeval Times, the Warbirds Aircraft Collection and into the town of Kissimmee itself.
About 4 miles to the south of the house, US-27 links with Interstate 4 (I-4) at Baseball City. I-4 runs from Daytona Beach on the Atlantic Coast to Tampa Bay on the Gulf Coast. It is the main northbound route through Orlando to Sanford Airport passing Orlando International Airport, Seaworld, Universal Studios, Belz Factory Outlets, Church Street etc. To the south it passes the Fantasy of Flight Museum, Lakeland, the junction to Busch Gardens and then connects either onwards past Tampa Airport to St. Petersburg and the beaches at Clearwater, Indian Rocks and Largo or south towards Sarasota.
